Why prep matters in Highlands
Highlands sits above 4,000 feet, so paint here fights fog, freeze-thaw cycles, and heavy rainfall. We pressure wash, scrape, caulk, and prime bare wood before a single topcoat goes on, and we use exterior finishes rated for this elevation. We work on log siding, board and batten, cedar shake, drywall, trim, and cabinets, and we tarp and clean the site every evening.
